Abstract

Objective:To know the prevalence status of high blood pressure of urban and rural residents in Huhhot,to provide a scientific basis for the future focus of Disease Control and Prevention. Methods: In accordance with the principles of stratified cluster sampling, samples who lived in local area for more than 5 years, aged 15~74 year-old urban and rural residents were randomly selected. Results: The hypertension prevalence rate of urban and rural residents in HUHHOT was 25.25%;the prevalence rate for rural residents was slightly higher than urban residents;urban male prevalence rate of hypertension was higher than that of women, and women prevalence rate of hypertension in rural area was higher than that of men;Regardless of urban and rural, prevalence rate of hypertension had an upward trend with age increased; The prevalence rate of hypertension in low-level,low-income,divorced and widowed people showed a higher level;Multivariate logistic regression analysis of Hypertension showed that age, body mass index,waist-hip ratio, total cholesterol, triglyceride were risk factors for hypertension, and vegetable intake was a protective factor of high blood pressure. Conclusion: Prevalence rate of hypertension in urban and rural residents of HUHHOT was significantly higher than the national average prevalence rate,so the hypertension affected the health of the residents seriously.
