Effects of N,P,K and organic fertilizers on growth and quality of Lagenaria siceraria

Abstract

In field experiment,effects of N,P,K and organic fertilizers on growth and quality in Lagenaria siceraria were investigated.Results showed that N,P,K fertilizers increased Lagenaria siceraria yield by the amount that reached to 1 500.0～29 166.6 kg/hm2,and the yield increase rate was 2.7%～101.7%.Among N,P,K fertilizers,the effects of increasing Lagenaria siceraria yield was in the order of NKP.Lagenaria siceraria quality also increased,especially the content of Vc and sugar.Applied organic fertilizers in addition to N,P,K fertilizers,Lagenaria siceraria yield,quality and economic benefit improved better.
