Abstract

There are some problems in traditional dyeing process for cotton fabric with reactive dyes,such as large consumption of alkali,uneven dyeing,raw materials wasting and cost of wastewater treatment increasing,and the dyeing process with low-alkali reactive dyestuff is an important solution at present. The optimum dyeing process of HD-LA low-alkali reactive dyestuff to cotton fabric is discussed in this paper. The dyeing effects and energy consumption are the best under the condition of dye dosage 2%( o. w. f.),salt 60 g / L,sodium carbonate 3 g / L,fixation temperature 80 ℃,fixation time 50 min,bath ratio 1 ∶ 6. Compared with the ordinary reactive dyestuff dyeing performance of grass green,coffee color and grey,the dates are shown that dry and wet rubbing fastness and fastness to washing are similar,the level-dyeing property of compound color dyeing is better by low-alkali reactive dyes HD-LA,but 1 / 2 dosage of alkali to the ordinary reactive dyes.
