Abstract
Due to the large torque ripple of induction machine based on direct torque control, the paper proposes a new control strategy. On the basis of conventional direct torque control, the valid time of inverter voltage vector in a controlling period is modulated in order to decrease torque ripple. The controlling mechanism and the simulation result are given in paper.
