Clinical Study of One-stage Operation on 52 Patients with Traumatic Colon

Objective To summarize the experience of one-stage operation for colon injury. Methods Retrospective analysis was made on the clinical data of 52 patients with colon injury treated by surgery. Results Of the 52 patients,5 patients had colon injury only,47 had combined injuries. Of all 52 patients treated by one-stage operation. Managements included primary repair of intestines in 34 patients,part resection and anastomosis in 18 patients. Of these 31 cases additional T-shaped catheter line cecal fistulization. Postoperative results revealed primary healing in 46 patients,incision infection in 6 patients,some incision dehiscence one cases. There was no intestinal fistula,abdominal abscess and fistula formation. Conclusion One-stage operation is the choice for patients with colon injuries if the indication is strict and correct choice of operation mode.
