The Feasibility Study on Offering Health Qigong as the Public Course of Independent College——Taking Jimei University Chengyi College as the Example

By using the research methods such as document literature,questionnaire survey,data statistics and comprehensive analysis,and taking Chengyi College of Jimei University as the example,this paper studies the concept,development,function and current situation of health qigong.The result shows that the students have keen interest in health qigong,the traditional health maintenance and physical training method.The teaching staff,who are young and have high education background,are the instructors being able to teach the health qigong,thus it is feasible for the independent colleges to offer health qigong course.
