A SUMMARY OF ACADEMIC VIEWPOINTS OF RESEARCHES INTO HUMAN NATURE

In ancient China, human nature can be summed up in four points, e.g. on benevolece of human nature; on wickedness of human nature; on human nature without benevolence or wickedness; on human nature with either benevolence or wickedness. In the West, human nature can be summed up in five points, that is, on equality and benefits of human nature; on divinity and asceticism of human nature; on interests and demands of human nature; on rational existence and natural attribution of human nature; on Marxist human nature. The author also introduces the new theory on benevolence and wickedness of human nature by Mr Wang Haiming.
