s developed from the cross between M58s and 87108-1 is a photo-thermo-sensitive genic rice sterile line,its sterile duration is more than 60d in Yichun. In the sterile period,its sterile rate reaches to 99.9%～100%,it is not sensitive to short low temperature (21.5～23.5℃).In the fertile period,its setting rate is over 60%.The hybrids from the crossing between 635s and indica rice varieties possess high setting rate and fine rice quality,it indicates that 635s has wide compatibility and strong combining ability.\;
