Study on chemical pretreatment of saponin wasterwater

Abstract
The kinds of pollutant and the content were analysed in the saponin productive process.The chemical pretrement of saponin wastewater was investigated over filtriation counteract,mix coagulation,absorption and oxygenation.Results indicated that the pH value of the wastewater turned from 2 into 6,most organic matter was already eliminated,the 80% COD removal was achieved and the chroma of saponin wastewater was reduced markedly.It was favor to the treatment as follow.
