The comparition between hemodialysis patients and peritoneal dialysis patients in microinfection and the factors associated with microinfection.

Objective To study the influence of the two kinds of dialysis to microinfection,and evaluate the factors asso- ciated with microinfection.Methods To explore 44 blood hemodialysis patients,41 peritoneal dialysis patients and 30 normal controls,hemoglobin(Hb),albumin(Alb),prealbumin(Prea),serum ferritin(SF),triglyceride(TG),cholesterol (Tch)were determined.These patients were divided into elevated CRP group(CRP10 mg/L)and normal CRP group (CRP≤10 mg/L).The associations between CRP and hemoglobin,albumin,prealbumin,serum ferritin in were analyzed respectively.Results HD patients'CRP indexes are higher than PD patients'(P0.05).Hb,Alb,Prea concentration in elevated CRP group were lower than that in normal CRP group significantly(P0.05).There were negative relationship between CRP and Hb,Alb,Prea(P0.05).Conclusion HD patients'microinfection is more serious than PD's.Blood CRP can reflect anemia and nutritional status in dialysis patients.
