Abstract
Aiming at the reliability of network management software,the evaluation method of software reliability is studied.Firstly three essential elements of software reliability to be evaluated are determined.And then the reliability test is performed and the reliability data are collected.Based on the reliability test,the software disabled criterion is determined,the reliability model is selected according to disabled criterion,and the evaluation of software reliability is implemented by using reliability data collected.The result of evaluation is compared to the index of software reliability.If the result can't meet the requirements,the further test is performed for perfect software.Lastly,an instance is given to illustrate the process of evaluation on reliability of network management software.
