Levels of Moral Character and the Trend of Elitism in Moral Education

Moral character has its levels,which are decided by the status of fulfilling moral rules and inherent emotion.The trend of elitism of traditional moral cultures,which also exist in current moral education,always long for high-level moral character unduly.The trend of elitism in moral character,which longs for high-level moral character,also has bad influence on moral status of the whole society,which should be understood clearly by moral education.Certainly,the high-level moral character should be canonized and imitated,but common-level moral character is also necessary,which should be treated rationally by moral education.
