Effects of Electric Gait Weight Support Instrument on Gait Training of Hemiplegic Patients in the Early Stage

Abstract

Objective: To explore the effects of electric gait weight support instrument on walking ability and speed of hemiplegic patients.Method: One Hundred patients with muscle force less than grade three were randomly divided into the rehabilitation group and the control group,both groups received routine therapy of neurology,needling and massage,the rehabilitation group were applied with electric gait weight support instrument,we gave the patients gait training in the early stage and rehabilitation training when the patients couldn't balanced.Changes of walking ability and speed of patients were observed in one month.Result:After treating in one month,Fugl-meyer score and Barthel index of hemiplegic patients improved greater than the patient in the control group,walking ability abd speed were superior to that of the control group.Conclusion: The application of electric gait weight support instrument in the early stage is helpful to improve the walking ability and speed of hemiplegic patients.
