Abstract
Objective To explore the metergasis of patients with rectal cancer before and after Dixon. Methods The pressure of anorectum about patients(n=46) with rectal cancer was determined before and after Dixon, using anorectal manometry detection system with four-passage water infusing. Results There was no significant difference in faeces texture after with before Dixon(P0.05).Defecation frequency and rectal tenesmus feeling were obviously increased, but continence function was weakened. The anal sphincter resting pressure, maximal squeeze pressure and maximal squeeze time were decreased compared to those of before Dixon(P0.05).All of the rectal anal inhibitory reflex were positive, but the value and percentage of drawdown pressure was decreased by compared before Dixon(P0.05).Conclusion The anal canal function of self-control and sphincter decreased in patients with rectal cancer after Dixon.
