Abstract
Objective:To analyze the frequency of 9bp deletion of mtDNA in the ethnic groups of Tajik people and Kirgiz people living in Xinjiang.Method:Polymerase chain reaction was adopted to amplify the frequency of 9bp deletion of mtDNA.Result:The frequency of 9 bp deletion in mtDNA of the ethnic groups in Tajik is 1.43%and 1in Kirgiz is 2.86%.Conclusion:Research shows that the frequencies of 9 bp deletion in mtDNA in those two ethnic groups in Xinjiang are relatively low,but they are different from those in other people.
A significance statement is not available in the OpenAlex record.
