Abstract

It analyzed the seepage control effect in large scale seepage-prevention wall under high lateral seepage condition by assuming the duration of flood peak, basing the theory of unsaturated and unsteady seepage theory, and using the FEM numerical model.According to Geological Survey report, two programs of the cement cut-off wall, with the depth of 10 meter and 15 meter, were calculated and analyzed. With the seepage-control effects of the two programs, mainly about the seepage discharge, the seepage velocity, changes in saturation line and so on,the optimal wall depth was selected.
