Abstract
Synthetic aperture radar(SAR) is a kind of new radar system which can measures a target's coordinate location and generates its image. This radar has broad applications and development prospects in both civil and military aspects.Certainly it is a major object in the area of radar jamming research area.In the past several years,we analyzed the SAR jamming principles, derived a SAR jamming equation, carried out a variety of simulation experiments, and obtained a lot of jamming data and jamming pictures through indoor small power jamming test and actual flying tests. All this has proved the validity of the derived SAR jamming equation. We also proved that the conventional radar jamming equation and the SAR jamming equation can be unified into one common equation. When computing their equivalent jamming powers, only different jamming suppression coefficients should be used.
