Research on the Design of Metro Line

Research purposes: The design of metro line is an important step and the decided parameters have effected on the engineering cost directly.This paper discusses the auxiliary line,distance between the two lines in curve and grade,sums up the theories and material design,and provides the reference and help for the line design. Research methods:The geometry and algebra equation are used in the course of research combining with design experience in Shenyang Metro. Research results:Through studying the correlative parameters of the metro design,this paper educes computing formula of the effective length,cross-over,distance between the two lines and economical grade,and sets forth the influence of structure delimitation,track style,signal system on the design of line. Research conclusions:The studying of calculational method explains the close relations of metro line, track and signal.The different designs depend on different parameters.We need comparison and choice of different plans,so reasonal line plans will be attained.
