A Survey of Model Reuse Methods

Simulation model reuse is a hot research issue in current simulation area,and is demanded urgently in the area of complex system modeling and simulation.The realization of simulation model reuse needs to promote the consciousness of reuse oriented modeling,and more important is to provide the approaches supporting the model reuse.The paper systematically introduced the simulation model reuse methods,including the multi-phase modeling method,the model framework based method,the standardization of model and model representation based method and the Meta-Synthesis method,and introduced the basic ideas,reuse principles and realization approach.Simulation model reuse is a systems engineering,runs through every phase of model development and use.MetaSynthesis method is the necessity of systematization in realizing simulation model reuse.
