Appreciation and Commentary on Taiwan Modern Poetry

The best feature of Taiwan modern poetry is to represent western modernist literature thoughts,mainly including existentialist and surrealist outlook towards world and life.The poetry holds pessimistic and empty ideas towards society and life,the tone of which is obscure.In terms of representation devices,the poetry borrows from symbolism,imagism and stream of consciousness to exhibit the poets mind and exploit the value of in an Abstract way.Consequently,the poetry profoundly exploits different attitudes,even sick attitudes,of human beings when they are facing pressure from society,money and their selfish and hypocritical nature.The poetry also makes some reform and exploration which differs from traditional poetry in many ways.
