Abstract

In 1980s,there was a heated discussion on 'literary self-consciousness' in the study of ancient Chinese literature and text,in which most scholars agreed that 'literary self-consciousness' maturized in Weijin Period.However,the rulers′ love and advocacy for literature,their own creative practice as well as the tendency in literary composition in Western Han Dynasty clearly indicated the maturity of emotional awareness,which can be regarded as a prelude of the self-conscious literary.
