The Euphemistic Elegant Qing-zhao Poetry

LI Qing-zhao, the outstanding woman poetry writer in Song dynasty, was the typical character of the euphemistic writing in South Song. Most of her poetries described the sad feelings of girl's love and the sorrow missing of separation. The subject was limited and very narrow. However, LI Qing-zhao's poetries had a special characteristic and was highly thought of having very important literature value. It was considered to be fresh and euphemistic, pretty and elegant. This paper combined LI Qing-zhao's creating style and her family character and tried to compare her poetry with LIU Yong and other Euphemistic writers. I did all this so as to show LI Qing-zhao's Euphemistic and exquisite woman characteristic and her fresh, elegant art style.
