Abstract

In this paper, the strength and deformation of an elastic sleeve is analyzed with the finite (element) method(FEM). The highest stress of each part and their corresponding positions under (critical) conditions are obtained, the effect of dimensions on stress and deformation is found and the proper dimensions are given.
