Abstract

Transmission tower as an important lifeline structure, which are affected by strong winds in recent years. In view of the difficulty of measuring the load, according the modal analysis theory in this paper, using the measured vibration transmission tower dynamic characteristics data, the wind speed time-history and displacement time-history can be derived by measured acceleration data. Finally,by using of finite element software ANSYS,the three-dimensional model of transmission tower was established, the wind load strength and energy dissipation time-change relations will be obtained by time-history analysis in ANSYS.The method in this paper can be reference for dynamic characteristics analysis of transmission tower, which is very important for understand the dynamic response of transmission tower deeply.
