Abstract

The technique of the differential optical absorption spectroscopy (DOAS) provides an ideal tool for air quality monitoring with the advantages of multiple pollutant components, high sensitivity and continuous on-line measurement. Its operation principle and some key techniques are introduced together with the whole system for air quality monitoring. The applications of DOAS technique are also presented.
