Abstract
The three-step synthesis method of 1-aminotetrazole by condensation, cyclization and hydrolysis reactions was studied using benzaldehyde and hydrazine hydrate as raw materials. The structures of intermediates and product were characterized by using infrared spectrum, nuclear magnetic resonance, element analysis, and so on. The influence of condensation reaction temperature and molar ratio of triethyl ortho-formate to benzaldehyde hydrazone in cyclization reaction on reaction yield was investigated. The optimal reaction conditions were defined as follows: condensation reaction temperature is 0~5 ℃, n(triethyl ortho-formate):n(benzaldehyde hydrazone)=1.8:1. The total yield of three-step reactions is 49.5%.
