Abstract

SolidWorks is an excellent three-dimensional design software. It has no parts library and cannot meet the design requirement of different fields. SolidWorks provide API function based on the OLE automation technology, we can use Visual Basic (VB) carried on the second development. Secondary development method based on VB is introduced in this paper. Using this method can be developed the parts library, thereby enhancing the efficiency of product design.
