Abstract

Theory of development is focal proposition of Marxism. From view of philosophy, esp. with standpoint and method of Marxism, this paper ponder over development and innovation as well as their essence and regularity. Innovation and development involves the concept of dialectical unity, both are scientific summary to essential law of nature and human society by Marxism, both are effective approach and measure for human being to understand and change the world. Innovation is the source, motivation and practical demand of development, development is direction, target and destination of innovation. Marxist theory of development is theoretical foundation of innovation, meanwhile, innovation is key embodiment for Marxist theory of development.
