Abstract
Objective:To study the evaluation of color doppler flow imaging before and after carotid endarterectomy(CEA).Methods:The clinical and color doppler flow imaging(CDFI)records of 115 patients undergoing CEA for carotid artery stenosis were reviewed retrospectively. Results:After CEA,the diameter and velocity of the stenotic area of extracranial ICA returned to normal(P 0.001).During the period of follow-up,the outcomes are satisfactory. Conclusion:CEA appears to an effective method in treatment of carotid artery stenosis.CDFI can provide reliable objective basis for the operation, and it is an effective way to evaluate the operation result and follow-up.
