Abstract
Objective To explore the clinical effect of parumbilical flap on reconstruction of electrical burn in wrist and forearm. Methods In recent 5years,parumbilical flaps were applied to reconstruct electrical burn in wrist and forearm of 18cases.The size of soft tissue defect was10cm×8cm-15cm×12cm.Results All the flaps survived well, the pedicles of flaps were cut after16-54days,and it showed satisfactory appearance,so it supplied a good condition for function reconstruction of wrist and forearm. Conclusion With simple procedure, low risk and high successful rate, parumbilical flap is a good donor tissue for reconstruction of clectrical burn in wrist and forearm.
