Human nature and the essence of human being are two categories confused easily. Hie article anatomizes and judges the contact and the difference between human nature and the essence of human being on the standpoint of Marxism. Human nature is the common attribute which human being differs from animals, and includes nature property, social property and self-determinative property of the spirit. The essence of human being is the foundation, the source and the power creating human nature constantly, it is the practice itself. The historical character of the practice embodies that human being is a historical and inborn being. The creative character of the practice embodies that human being is a free being transcending reality constantly.
