Abstract

Taking the urban circle in Wuhan and the city group of Shandong peninsula which have competitive power in China,the paper undertakes the comparison and analysis of the two regions from the development policy background,the regional development conditions,and the space of the city and town system,functional types and degree scale structure,and discloses the development characteristics and problems in the two city groups.
