The concept evolution and localization of student affairs management in universities

Abstract
The concept of affairs in American and its management has roughly undergone the stages of loco parentis,student personnel,student service,student development and learning,which are not isolate but overlapped,occasionally conflicting and co-existing.Although the terms are widely used,such as student affairs in universities and student affairs management in universities in China,they have given localized meaning,which are defined in this paper.
