A study of the copyright infringement liability of the internet service provider

Internet service providers play an irreplaceable role in the operation and development of the Internet. However, cases are increasing that the providers are involuntarily dragged into the disputes of Internet copyright infringement, or even become the cat's paw. What kinds of development space or bottom line should be set for the service providers so that they will not infringe the copyright? This involves issues of the liability for the copyright infringement. This thesis, through comparison of the laws and regulations at home and aboard, proposes some ideas on the issue, suggesting to set up a reasonable and practical standard in judging the infringement liability.
