Abstract

In this paper,development trend and present situation of international competitive sports are analyzed from perspective of the global financial crisis,competitive sports itself,development guarantee and benefits of competitive sports development.It is held that after the 29th Olympic Games,the competition of different countries in competitive sports will be more fierce.The major forces in competitive sports will be stronger.More countries will follow China in adopting a system supporting competitive sports with the national strength.There will not be great changes in Olympic events.There will be more chances for non-Olympic events to be included as Olympic ones.Even though the global financial crisis will affect the development of competitive sports,sports economy will still be the economic growth source.Competitive sports training will be more scientific.Sports science and technology will aim at gaining the best benefits at the least cost.Competitive sports will become part of people's ordinary life.
