Abstract
Objective:To find the correlation between changes of temporomandibular joint in adults with mandible and TMD.Methods:The mesofault radiographs of temporomandibular joint were taken in 21 adult patients with mandible deviations and 20 adults with normal occlusions. The craniomandibular index was used to investigate 21 adult patients with mandible deviation.Data were analyzed with SPSS 13.0 sofeware. Results:In adult patients with mandible deviation, the prosoblank and areas ratio of joint in deflected side showed correlation with CMI.The sup blank of joint and the hight of condyle process in another side shoued correlation to CMI.Conclusion:Changes of the position of condyle process have correlation with TMD.
