Abstract

The water culture method was carried out to study the effects of potassium supply level on growth and potassium accumulation in tobacco seedlings. The results showed that, with the increase of potassium level, the growth status of tobacco seedlings was improved obviously, and when the potassium level was 0~10.00 mg / L,dry weight and potassium accumulation of tobacco leaf were all sharp increased firstly, reached the maximum when the potassium level was 4.00 mg / L,then decreased slowly. It showed that in a given range, the raising of potassium ion concentration would promote the increase of dry weight and potassium accumulation in the plants, however,it would inhibit the accumulation when potassium supply level exceed some certain rang.
