Clinical research progress of Buyang Huanwu decoction

Abstract
As main functions of tonifying qi,activating blood,and unblocking collateral in Buyang Huanwu decoction,the original formula is used to treat sequelae after stroke.With the depth of modern research,the clinical applications has gradually broadened,and great achievements are obtained in diseases of the lungs,spleen and stomach,liver and gallbladder,heart,and kidneys.The clinical research progresses on Buyang Huanwu decoction in recent years have been reviewed and the characteristics and existed problems of clinical application have been analyzed.
