Correct Discipline Orientation of Sport Sociology

Based on discussion on research object,method and basic content,combing with logistical definition,this paper found out character of sport sociology differing from other sport discipline,solved the problem of orientation of sport sociology,summed up definition of this discipline made by some researchers in order to provide the theoretical instruction to discipline construction and solve some practical problem in the research.Sport sociology studies the sports and social phenomena,relationship between sports and human being through using the social angle of view and research method of sociology.It is the internal structure and developing discipline from sociological research perspective and methods.The applied discipline of this sociology will promote the healthy development of sports and social function running smoothly.Finally,the direct relation of sport sociology with other disciplines,and how to develop the discipline localization of China sport sociology was explained.
