Studied on the theory of the color change of Nandina domestica fruits

The theory in the fruits color change of Nandina domestica from green to red have been studied.The results showed: The color change of Nandina domestica fruits related on chlorophyll,carotenoid,anthocyanin and soluble sugar.During the early period of fruits growth,the contents of chlorophyll and carotenoid were the highest;the contents of anthocyanin were the lowest.To maturation,the contents of chlorophyll and carotenoids were the lowest;the contents of anthocyanin were the highest.The contents of soluble sugar were increased by the contents of chlorophyll and carotenoids reducing,and the contents of anthocyanin increasing.
