Abstract
Seven patterns for producing wood/plastic composites are designed by changing the proportion of high density polyethylene(HDPE) and polystyrene(PS) mixture and the proportions of HDPE to PS are 0 ∶ 10,1 ∶ 9,2 ∶ 8,3 ∶ 7,4 ∶ 6,5 ∶ 5 and 10 ∶ 0 respectively.According to different design patterns, correspondent extrusion process parameters are selected to produce wood/plastic composite profiles and plastic inspection standards are used to conduct mechanical performance inspection and scanning electron microscopic observation to find the optimum formulation process.
