Abstract

This paper presents the design process of DF_(7D) locomotive radial bogie.Based on the careful analysis of the existing various locomotive radial bogies in the world and considering the requirements of realistic application of DF_(7D) locomotives, the locomotive radial bogie design suitable for China's actual conditions is proposed and the dynamics calculation has been completed.Beside, the rigidity and damping of all suspension parts has been determined and the finite-element analysis of the key parts has been performed also.
