Abstract
Objective To explore the development potential of different embryonic morphology. Methods Embryo implantation rates of 242 cycles were analyzed in 222 couples from December 2004 to June 2007.Results The rate of embryo implantation was higher after transfers of 8-cell embryos(34.95%)than that after 4-5-cell embryos(10.34%),6-7-cell embryos(15.84%)and ≥ 9-cell embryos(11.11%),and which was higher after transfers embryos without fragmentation(33.89%) than that with fragmentation 1-20%(17.81%) and with fragmentation 21-50%(11.11 %).Conclusion The number of cells in the embryo and the fragmentation in embryo affected on embryo implantation.Embryo morphology could be used to evaluate the embryonic development potential.
