Abstract
The transformation of resource-dependent cities is a worldwide problem.The developed countries also met the same realistic problem in the economic development process.But due to the different condition and the regional characteristics,each has its own way of transformation pattern and road.This paper defines the scope of resource-dependent cities.In the meantime,it bases on the study of transformation of resources city both at home and abroad;take Zaozhuang city,Jiaozuo city and Baiyin city as examples and then analyzes three kinds of models of transformation including the chain of extension mode,the implanted pattern of new industry and the new leading industry foster mode.Moreover,it peliminary discussed the the transformation of resource-dependent cities.
