Abstract
9 250 soil samples were collected from 2006 to 2008 in order to obtain knowledge about the soil nutrient in Beizhen City. The results of the soil nutrient analysis show that the average content of soil organic matter is 1.55%,the average content of alkali-hydrolyz-able nitrogen is 109.8 mg/kg,the average content of available phosphorus is 18.27 mg/kg,and the average content of quick-acting potas-sium is 106.99 mg/kg.Compared with the year of 1980,the land capability for the whole city shows an upward trend. From the soil nu-trient analysis and field tests,it is recommended that for each hm2 30 000~45 000 kg organic fertilizer,120~225 kg nitrogen,P2O5 30~ 120 kg,K2O 30~150 kg should be applied.
