Analysis on Trace Elements and Macro Elements in Xin Bao Pill

Abstract

Eleven trace elements and macro elements in Xin Bao pills,such as sodium,potassium,calcium,magnesium,iron,chromium,manganese,nickel,cadmium,copper and zinc were determined by flam atomic absorption spectrophotometry.The results showed that there were comparatively rich trace elements and macro elements in Xin Bao pills.It provided useful data for discussing the relationship between trace elements and macro elements in Chinese traditional medicine and cure for coronary heart disease.
