Comments on Yuan mei's Views of Poem

Abstract

The center of YuanMei's views of poems is inspiration. The poems stem from feelings, but ifthere is no inspiration, the feeling will be blunt. The spread of poems lies in their originality, but if there isno inspiration,ther is no individual. The article analyses Yuanmei's views of poems in three points: thesource of poems, the soul of poem and the originality of poem. Then the article analyses the positive role ofYuanMei's views and the reasons why it is not wide-ranging spreaded.
