Abstract
Objective To study the relationship between gastric acid secretion and infection of Helicobacter pylori(Hp) or serum gastrin in chronic multifocal atrophic gastritis(BAG) patients.Method A total of 200 patients with chronic gastritis were devided into 4 groups based on histological results:non-atrophic gastritis, mild, moderate and severe BAG groups. While the 24 h intragastric pH value was monitored using mobile pH measuring apparatus, the serum gastrin and the Helicobacter pylori were detected at the same time.Result 1,Hp infection rate is 70% in 150 BAG patients. With the aggravation of gastric mucosal atrophy degree, the Hp infection rate was increased gradually.2,The level of the serum gastrin : No significant difference was showed between the non-atrophic gastritis and the mild group(P0.05),and significant difference was showed in other groups(P0.05);3,The pH value:The pH≤2 time percentage of the mild BAG group was higher than that of the non-atrophic gastritis group, and gradually decreased in the moderate and severe group. The pH4 time percentages, the mean pH value and the center position of PH value in the mild BAG decreased slightly than in the non-atrophic gastritis group, and increased gradually in the moderate and severe group. Conclusion 1,The gastric mucosal atrophy is related to the Hp infection, furthermore, the serious degree was positively correlated with the degree of the Hp infection.2,The serum gastrin has not significant change in the mild BAG group, but decreased in the moderate and severe group.3,The gastric acid secretion increased in the mild BAG group. With the aggravation of gastric mucosal atrophy degree, the gastric acid secretion decreased gradually.
