Abstract
In 2006,Daxing District introduced Pinus sylvestris var. mongolica seedlings with heights of 2. 5 ~3meters from Shangzhi Yabuli area of Heilongjiang province and cultivation experiment was conducted in Wufulin Nursery. In 2010,Pinus sylvestris var. mongolica saplings with heights of 3 ~ 3. 5 meters were introduced from Zhangjiakou area of Hebei Province and planted in the Riverside Forest Park. The results of3- year forestation in the Riverside Forest Park and 7- year cultivation practice in Wufulin Nursery showed that Pinus sylvestris var. mongolica had a strong ability to adapt the climate and soil in Daxing District of Beijing, they grew well and they were suitable for local afforestation as evergreen species.
