Discussion on the Principles and Methods of Teaching of English Grammar

Abstract

This paper indicates that since English grammar is one of the main courses in foreign languages school,it plays an important role in students' English learning.However,some research shows that there are many shortcomings in its teaching.It argues that according to the newly published education program and some relevant linguistic and language teaching theories,teaching of English grammar in EFL teaching reform should pay more attention to set up new teaching principles and explore new teaching methods.
